This class is for you if you are interested in experiencing the many health benefits of yoga but think you are too inflexible, too out of shape, too old, too nervous to go alone [fill in your own concern here!]. Join us for a nurturing, comfortable class where you will start to breathe in a way that calms your central nervous system and move in a way that dissolves tension in your body. There will be no handstands, planks or physically demanding poses here, just the opportunity to tune into your own inner peace and wisdom. Leave relaxed yet alert, ready to savor the rest of your day in the beautiful Northwoods.

Absolutely NO prior experience with yoga is required and neither do you need to wear any yoga-designer clothing. Just wear loose, comfortable clothing. Mats provided.

Cindy completed level 2 teacher training at Yogaview in Chicago, Illinois, and studied yoga and meditation in Pune, India. She is also certified through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California (200-hour RYT). She has over twenty years of experience teaching adults in both university and community settings. She has a Ph.D. in education from Northwestern University and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has taught undergraduate and graduate classes at Northwestern University, Beloit College, Loyola University, and St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
