Yoga instructor, Tricia Schwaba, E-RYT, is a huge proponent of alternative, creative self-care. Her experience as a Myofascial Therapist for the last 25 years gives her the expertise to help people of all ages better understand how to listen to what their bodies are telling them. In response to her yoga students’ questions and concerns, the first self-care workshop is dedicated to understanding muscle pain and/or chronic muscle tightness. In this informative and experiential workshop, Tricia will explain the basic anatomy of the musculoskeletal system and discuss what happens to your muscles when you get stressed, or when muscles get strained. Participants will learn various self-care tools and methods that can help ease pain and stimulate recovery.

You do not have to be practicing yoga to attend! Anyone who would like to learn more about alternative holistic lifestyle self-care is welcome.
