Learn How To Make The Most Of Your Unique Creative Process: Explore creativity with the language of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). April 11, 18, and 25 from 1 to 3.
For artists, writers, designers, creatives by profession, anyone wanting to gain insight into their creativity.
By using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to explore how your preferences, tendencies and strengths guide your creative process, this series of three sessions will help you work with and understand how your unique capabilities can enrich your creative life. The focus of these sessions is on each participant’s own creative process.
The course will include an in depth description of the MBTI preferences, a discussion of the MBTI language as it relates to creativity, activities to deepen understanding. Each participant will complete the MBTI Assessment and receive a packet of their assessment results.
Special guest, artist and retired Nicolet College instructor, Robert Kanyusik will also be presenting at the second class about artists/art work through history that demonstrates the eight MBTI preferences. This presentation will also include a model for using the MBTI preferences in one’s own work followed by a question and answer session.
Concluding the course with in a hands-on collaborative activity, participants will come away with greater insight and inspiration in their creative lives.
Students must register by March 25th, and will be sent the MBTI questionnaire to complete prior to the class, which is included in the class fee. Janice will score these for participants as a exploritation of their creative type.
Janice Kanyusik, our instructor for this class has an MS in Counseling and is a Certified Master Practitioner Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
