What happens when you heat sterling silver to it’s liquid form, and then pour it gently into water? You get a bunch of funky silver shapes, and a lot of them make really great centerpieces for jewelry!
Just in time to make a Mother’s Day gift or a special hand-made piece for yourself, you will walk away from this class with a beautiful sterling silver necklace and a pair of earrings. Instructor Trista Langley-Tyler will take you individually through the melting and “casting” processes, then it will be up to you to sort through your many pieces and choose 6 that you love – 3 to complete the pieces in class, and three to take home and use as you wish. Once you have your pieces chosen, you will be taken though the process of making your jewelry out of them.
The goal for this class is to learn how to complete these pieces using only hand tools which are inexpensive and easy to find so that you can take that new knowledge-set home, and use it in any number of creative projects, jewelry and otherwise!
All materials and supplies included in the class fee.
*PLEASE NOTE* Full registration fee or non-refundable deposit must be paid no later than April 17th. $20 of any registration is non-refundable unless in the event of emergency or cancellation of class.
