- 12.5 lbs. clay

Class 1:
Extreme Pinch Pots-
Introduction to sculptural pottery to include joining, slip, use of paper and supports, basic tools.
Slab Plates and Canisters-
Basic use of a slab roller, using templates, textures, and patterns. Discuss stalling and importance of venting and drying. Project planning, add-ons, and spoon buffing.
Class 2:
Figures and animals, textures and shapes
Discuss basic sculpting and adding personality to forms. Review blocking and venting, textures, and use of rims, covers, and feet.
Finishing and glazing possibilities. Repairs and options after that last firing.
Class 3:
Sanding, glazing, and finishing
Critique and the importance of really looking and learning from your work 🙂
Final glaze firing will be done ASAP by The Warehouse firing personnel.
