  •  April 15, 2017
     10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Are you a closet poet? Get ready to share your words with the world! Whether you have a shoe box/notebook full of handwritten verses, a head full of them, or the desire to explore your poetic inclinations and inspirations, you are welcome to join us for a day of empowerment, creativity, and fun. In this workshop, we will talk about different outlets of self-publishing such as chapbooks and zines, and basic book format and binding techniques. With access to a variety of bookmaking materials we will spend time designing and producing 5-10 copies of your self published poetry edition. This class is a perfect companion to Haiku Poetry on April 8. Instructor Samantha Martinez

Sam’s Bio: Sam grew up on a lake in the north woods of Wisconsin. She has always been a maker and loves to keep her hands busy with art work and craft.
