Youth August Artist-Inspired Making!

• Thursdays August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
• Time: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Cost: $15 per participant per session
• Includes supplies & instruction
• Children under 6 must bring an adult

Each class this month will be based on a U.S. famous artist:

August 1              Andy Warhol

August 8              Georgia O’Keeffe

August 15            Jean-Michel Basquiat

August 22            Keith Haring

August 29            Mary Cassatt

Each class will include

• special welcome introducing the features artist/medium/technique
• discussion with a story about the featured artist/medium/technique
• exploration of materials based on the featured artist/medium/ technique
• engagement in art-making where students will create their own art
• cleanup time
• sharing time and discussion of what was discovered
• closing inspirations
