After-School Art/Music Program for K through 5th Grade: Art Around the World

This five week session explores Australia, China, Ghana, and Peru through the lens of art and/or music.

Get ready to explore art and/or music from around the world!  These art and music classes are geared at teaching young children about different cultures and techniques through artwork, rythm and sound.  Children will gain a global perspective about what is different and what is the same across cultures.  During art, kids will practice different forms of art-making culture by culture.  During Music, kids will learn about the different ways music reflects a culture.
