1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
In this 5-week series, you’ll learn how to make items from clay!
November 6, 13 & 27: We will be making pinch pots and learning how to add coils and texture. Participants will learn how to combine multiple pieces of clay and develop “creatures with features.”
December 4 & 11: We will be minting coinage out of clay, while they learn about the invention of currency from cultures around the world, and throughout history, as well as how Ancient Greek conqueror, Alexander the Great, has a connection to George Washington being on our American quarter.
Join us for a free, family-friendly exhibit on Saturday, December 16th from 1-3pm.
