Best known for her innovative sculpture, Hesse’s abstract drawings and paintings are collections of a series of repeated shapes, symbols, colors and patterns, much like vibrant, painterly architectural plans.
There’s no wrong way to have a wonderful evening during this class. Artist teacher Ryan Doberstein will present Hesse’s colorful and sometimes tragic personal life, the brilliance of her all too-brief artistic career, her process and her influences, as well as introducing how to explore some of the techniques she employed in her works on paper and canvas. Taking inspiration from this body of work, participants will have a great deal of room for a personal creative expression.
$35 includes all materials necessary including a canvas and painting materials.
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
