10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Discover plant materials cultivated, gathered from the wild, and remnants from the garden harvest/farmers market/produce aisle that create color as we experience dyeing on silk.
Think in terms of muted earthy tones in a range of colors – experiment with pattern made by leaves and basic shibori techniques.
Leave the class with a dyed silk eco printed scarf and some silk swatches to create a sampler guide or incorporate in other projects. As time permits, we will do some eco printing on paper and create our own concertina book. All levels welcome! We’ll break for lunch so pack something for yourself.
$45 class fee includes all supplies.
This class will be held at Circle of Life Studio, located at 3720 Gaffney Dr, Eagle River, WI 54521, USA
Pre-Registration is required! Pay in full by September 8th, or place a $15 deposit down and pay the remainder the day of the class.
