Are you getting excited about the fall? This class will focus on making pottery for the fall season. We can make leaf-bowls, pumpkin lanterns, turkey candle holders, ghost luminaries and more! Students with wheel throwing skills can use a combination of altered wheel thrown forms and hand-built components. Other students will hand-build with slabs and coils.
Prerequisites for this class:
Wheel throwers need to be comfortable with centering 2 pounds of clay. There are no pre-requisites for hand building students, but it would be helpful for hand building students to have basic skills such as slab-building, coil-building, scoring and slipping.
This is a 4-session series with instructor Johanna Buwalda.
6 students maximum.
