Pinch Portraits – Using basic pinch pot technique, participants will sculpt a small head in clay.  Instructor Debbie Jircik will teach you how to build onto your pinch pot to create a small head with facial features.  This may be made using realistic proportions or done stylistically.   Texture and color will be applied using slips and underglaze.  These pieces will be single fired.   Sculpting tools will be available to use and a list of resources, books and tool recommendations will be shared.  This class is for all levels of experience.  Participants are welcome to bring a photo if they would like to attempt to make a likeness of someone.

Class fee includes clay, supplies and firing.
