Recreate your own version of Vincent van Gogh’s famous oil masterpiece, Wheat Field with Cypress. Learn a little history about the Artist, and principles of art basics, while oil painting your way through the piece. Experimentation with coloring and style encouraged! Students will use water-mixable oil paints on a stretched canvas. All supplies included. Don’t wear nice clothes. Aprons available. Oil painting experience not necessary, though may be helpful.
Instructor Bio: McCall is a mom of two young kiddos, the Warehouse’s Marketing Director, and an avid oil painter in her free time, creating usually weird and whimsical surrealist portraits. She got her degree in ceramics from UW-Madison and was a high/middle school art teacher in Colorado before moving to the Northwoods. You can find her Instagram here
