“Share Your Veteran Stories” Writing & Storytelling Workshop
Tuesdays 1:00PM – 2:30PM
Feb 6, 13, 20, 27, March 5, 12
Facilitator: Bobby Bullet with Pamela Nesbit
This workshop is one of several gathering opportunities for veterans to share their experiences about their time in the military and for families to share how the service impacted their lives.
● This workshop provides opportunities for storytelling and/or writing, as a means of expression.
● All works are welcome for display until the March 24, 2024 performance by Kathy
Kaefer at Northland Pines High School, sponsored by HCPA. She will perform
songs popular around World Wars I and II, and read letters and share photographs
of veterans who served in those wars.
● Veterans are invited to attend this workshop and all Warehouse classes & events, the concert, and other
events free-of-charge!
Meet the Facilitators:
Bobby Bullet is a Veteran, a writer, and a Multiple Native American Music Awards (NAMA) Nominee. As such, he is a weaver of stories, teacher of legends, and keeper of traditions. Drawing on diverse musical influences from country, blues, jazz, and rock, Bobby has performed his own personal style of music for more than 50 years. His music is grounded in personal experience and cultural history. His songs tell well-crafted stories that heal, teach and bridge his Native American roots to all peoples. Pamela Nesbit joins her husband, Bobby, in writing as well as performing Bobby’s story songs. She delights in bringing unique harmonies to the spirit of the songs with voice and Native American flute.
