Winter 2 Homeschool Session (6-week session)
Dates: Thursdays Mar. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7 **March 24 make up class- April 14
Time: 10:30 – 12:00 noon
Cost: 6-week session for $60.00/student; $12.00 drop-in
Theme: Our Seasons in the Northwoods
In this unit, students will explore the seasons we experience here in the Northwoods, focusing on
the element of color.
Students will refer to artworks to discover how to express their ideas in different forms.
Students will consider composition as they key on design principles of unity, harmony, and
emphasis.
Students will experiment with how different colors can relate to personal feelings.
Students will engage with a variety of painting techniques.
Students will share their work and respond to the work of their peers.
Our homeschool schedule is designed to accommodate families with children in both age groups.
We have a teacher and a teacher aid and will be able to divide the group into developmental
levels, 9 and under and 10 and older.
