What’s happening in August at the Warehouse
The Warehouse Community Arts Center in downtown Eagle River has free public art exhibit “Ergo Sum: A Crow a Day” displayed and open for free viewing until Friday August 16th. This beautiful exhibit features 365 small panels of mixed media work by artist Karen Bondarchuk, who created one piece a day for a whole year, as a way to signify the time her mother, diagnosed with dementia, could no longer seem to comprehend. Each panel has a crow (or many), as the artist feels very inspired by Corvus birds and their representation symbolically to her mother. View this wonderful public art exhibit during Warehouse front desk hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday 11am-3pm, and was funded in part with a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board.
