CPR/AED and First Aid/Stop the Bleed Training & Certification

This is a 2 week class. 7 hours of instruction. 3.5 Hrs per day.

June 3rd and June 10th.

Students will receive a 2 year certification if they attend both courses.

Cost for both CPR &AED (1st Saturday -6/3) and First Aid plus Stop the Bleed (2nd Saturday -6/10) training – $100.00 for both.

Cost for CPR & AED Training alone-$60

June 3rd, you will learn CPR & AED Training.
This CPR/AED course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. This course can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

June 10th, you will learn First Aid Training
This First Aid instructor-led course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.

Meet the Instructor
Mark Zima is a Lieutenant with the Eagle River Fire Department and has served with Eagle River for six years. Mark has been a firefighter and Advanced EMT for 17 years, the first eleven with Lane Fire Authority in Eugene, Oregon. He is a Training Center Faculty Member for the American Heart Association, a Wisconsin Fire and Emergency Services Instructor II and a Wisconsin EMS Instructor II.
