Arts on Tap: Women’s History Month Film Screening

  •  March 2, 2017
     7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Celebrate Women’s History Month with the film “Right Out of History – The Making of Judy Chicago’s Dinner Party”. For five years, feminist artist Judy Chicago worked with a community of four hundred other artists, craftspeople and researchers to create “The Dinner Party,” a monumental tribute to women of spirit and accomplishment throughout the ages – women whose names have vanished “right out of history.” As they worked, filmmaker Johanna Demetrakas followed their progress, recording for posterity the behind-the-scenes drama and process of this enormous undertaking.

Free program with popcorn and beverages available for purchase from the Inspiration Bar.

Arts on Tap is co-sponsored by The Olson Memorial Library and WXPR.
