Basket Weaving with Dianne Mockler

Celebrate the colors of the season with a basket you weave yourself! Suitable for beginners, in this class you will learn weaving techniques, such as laying out a base, weaving up the sides, and rimming and lashing.”Candy Corn” features a beautiful spiral design woven in dyed reed.

Long-time basket weaver and fiber artist Dianne Mockler will share many hints and tips throughout the class. Take home a completed basket, ready for family gatherings this Fall!

There will be a short lunch break – please bring a sack lunch. Also, please bring a plastic dishwashing tub or bucket, an old towel, and spray bottle. Wear clothes that can get a little wet.
