     1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Handmade marbled paper sheets and book covers. From a display at the National University of La Plata’s Public Library during the open-door museum night “Museos a la luz de la Luna” (‘Museums in the Moonlight’) on November 8, 2014.

Explore the centuries old tradition of aqueous surface design, transforming plain paper into colorful, marble patterns. Participants will learn the step by step technique and produce several marbled papers, suitable for book binding, holiday decorations, gift cards, and more!

$15 includes materials and 5 sheets of paper (additional paper will be available for a small fee).  This class is suitable for all ages, however anyone under 11 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

Please pre-register, but walk-ins are welcome.
