In the Style of… Edouard Vuillard

This class explores the style of French symbolist painter, Edouard Vuillard, member of Les Nabis, or the “seers” who reveal the invisible. Participants will discover how Vuillard and the symbolists used color in a poetic, symbolic way to create ethereal visions. The instructor will demonstrate how to use stippled patterns and color to create ghostly impressions in Vuillard’s manner.
