Winter Homeschool Session (6-week session)

Theme: Our Animals in the Northwoods
In this unit, students explore animals and their environments in drawing and sculpture, focusing on their skins and habitats.
Students will experiment with various drawing media to show qualities of line, shape, and surface texture of domestic and wild animals found here in the Northwoods.
This unit will begin with a review of the elements of line, shape, texture, and form and a discussion of the principles of composition.
Students will use media in a variety of ways to produce textures.
Students will refer to artworks to discover how to express their ideas in different forms.
